Nintendo’s older console just received a new update. All system owners can download version 5.5.2.

The update notes haven’t been exciting for Wii U in awhile, and nothing really changed this time either. Nintendo simply states, “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience”.

What this actually patches is the WebBrowser exploits, so you'll have to rely on Haxchi.

This also hints at Miiverse shutting down. While we don't know when its going to shut down, we also don't know if it will affect SMM in any way, shape or form, so I would recommend using Loadliine to rip your courses to your PC so that you can upload it to the SMMDB, and Saveliine so you can transfer downloaded courses onto your SMM save.
