The company explained that when a battery is in a poor condition it may not be able to supply the required maximum current demanded by the phone’s processor at full speed. If that happens, the iPhone can shut down unexpectedly to protect the internal components.

....this is honestly sad. It makes me think that apple is forcing you to buy their new 1000$ emoji machine. I mean, forced obsolece is never a good thing. Heck, this has even affected my iPhone 4S, and its sad, because on older firmware, it worked perfectly. I'm quite glad that Apple is getting a law suit for doing this. And even so, you can just replace the bate~ oh wait, sorry, battery is not replacable. You have to go to some random 3rd party place and pay them in order to replace your battery. In fact, I've given up dealing with Apple's bullcrap, hence why I bought a blackberry. The reasoning that they gave makes me loose hope for Apple completely, since battery replacements fix the problem.

What are your opinions on it? Do you think it's correct for them to do this, or nah?

I used to have a 3DSafe A9LH V11.3.0-36U with Luma in my CTRNAND. Since ReiNAND Reibooted and Re-Reileased, I "switch"ed back.
Right now, I have boot9strap with Luma 8.0 as my CFW. Though, I'd like to see other CFW's for B9S.

I think they shouldn't have done this. It doubles as a way to force people into buying new phones and such. Then again, if they had announced this at the time it started I don't think it would have gone better. I actually use a cheap Android phone that was free, and I just do everything else on my PC and Android tablet, considering the only thing I really use my phone for is, well, to make phone calls.

Same. In fact, I just downgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1.3 instead of the rubbish 9.3.5 stuff. I miss the old good UI.

To be honest that is exactly what they are doing. It's like a child saying a fairy came through the window and made a mess in they're room. They are doing it so you are forced to buy the new phone or a newer one. This is why I use Android as at least it doesn't do that and the newest features don't cost you $1000.

Yeah, TBH, old apple was way better than the new one. I mean, look at iOS 6 vs iOS 7. 6 has that really nice, 3D, interesting feel to it. 7 just looks way too flat and not enjoyable at all.

I personally have 2 phones now: An old 4S upgraded to 9.3.5, then downgraded to 6.1.3, and an Android Blackberry (The Blackberry Priv). I prefer the priv for more of my serious stuff, but for school, I'm going to start using my 4S, with a bunch of Jailbreak tweaks that can make it like an Android level of customization.
