Ok, so, uh, I want to try to cut down the theme collection to those that are actually good.

Mainly, after adding Samplasion's new "Blargboard Red" theme, I've been taking a look at the theme selection and I've noticed a few things:

1. There are way too many themes.
2. Uncategorized
3. Mainly, I haven't gotten permission for using the Slatebit themes, as Treeki wont respond to my Twitter DMs.
4. The "MMM Red" theme is actually a stolen theme from NeoMarioGalaxy. Someone gave them to me but never mentioned that he stole it from somewhere else.
5. There isn't any consistancy with what themes there are to pick.

So, uh, I want to try cutting down the theme selection. Problem is, IDK what to remove.

And about #4. I don't want a stolen theme to be our site's main theme.

I've been thinking of adding a "Theme Category" feature to the edit profile page, which will allow you to pick from 3 (4 if treeki lets me keep Slatebit) theme categories: Tierage's Themes category, Blargboard Category, NSMB category and Slatebit Category. This will allow the page to look much nicer, more consistant, non stolen, and overall improve quality.

We can also add SMB1 OverWorld and SMB1 Underground.

What do you all think?

I used to have a 3DSafe A9LH V11.3.0-36U with Luma in my CTRNAND. Since ReiNAND Reibooted and Re-Reileased, I "switch"ed back.
Right now, I have boot9strap with Luma 8.0 as my CFW. Though, I'd like to see other CFW's for B9S.

Well then that's a problem, to be honest I'm fine with the Theme Category thing though what themes you keep is up to you.

Not to mention yeah get rid of MMM Red if it's stolen, stolen themes are a no no m8. It's good you were able to catch that.

I wish you the best of luck in finding a solution to this.

I remember the Blue MMM theme, but I never thought they were stolen

I like this idea

So I've received some criticism on MMM Red on reddit.

Nice and all, but the site needs a heavy redesign. I opened it and my eyes started to bleed. Hard to read, the strong colors contrast the text badly, making it hard to read and hard to focus on actually important stuff.
A lighter theme with a less harsh color palette would do wonders.
There is a thing called themes. You go to edit profile page, then select the themes tab and change your theme. Also, the main theme will get changed soon due to a certain reason.
When I see a site with such bad UX, my thought is not exactly "hey lemme make a profile, maybe I can change the skin!", but to navigate away.
The color use literally gave me headache on an IPS panel, and I can't even imagine the eye hurt people got from viewing it on AMOLED displays.

As a result of this, the site main theme has been temporarely changed from MMM Red to Blargboard Light. Sure, it might look bland, but atleast it'll stop people from having headaches.

Blargboard itself requires some decent work done to look professional... :P

True, but IMO, currently, this looks fine.

Ok, so, I've been going around, and trying to fix the theme issue. Now, here's the things I've changed.

1. Removed MMM Red, Slatebit, and the Halloween Theme.
2. Added LifeMushroom's SMB1 OV and SMB UG themes.
3. Added preview.css files for the blargboard themes.

Slowly and slowly, I'm going to remove most themes here.

A final decision has been made regarding themes: If your theme isn't on our [ToDo list](https://github.com/NightYoshi370/Mario-Making-Mods/projects/1), or if it isn't already in our [themes directory on github](https://github.com/NightYoshi370/Mario-Making-Mods/tree/Forum-Software/themes), it will be **removed**. Therefore, please do change your theme beforehand to one of the ones that are in the Github repo.

The change will be happening by Saturday evening.
