Well, uh, for the ground, you can give it sort of a cool and nice wobble effect. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Place a spring on the actual ground tiles.
Step 2: Place a 1-way platform facing downwards right above
Step 3: Place a bullet bill blaster right in-front of the one-way platform.

Now, the side-affect is that the "ground" will actually shoot bullet bills at you. But, I guess you can block it off somehow...
