So here is a space mod... because space is cool... and people asked for it.

Anyway, it's based on Metroid and Newer SMBWii and it looks like this:

It replaces the SMW airship theme only. And this mod is also my way of saying that we need a Metroid Maker !

Features:
-new tileset
-new background
-some new sprites
-new music

Download Wii U:

Credits to:
-The Spriter Resource for most sprites
-Newer Team for the music

Issues:
-Samus' hitbox is a little too wide
-The second semi solid looks kinda weird if not stretched correctly:

I suggest making something like this in the editor so that it looks better:

You can also create the slow-motion in your level using the compressed POW blocks to have an antigravity effect wich would go really well with this mod.

Enjoy!

When I think of space in mario, I think of super mario land 2. Though, this is also fine. Great job!

But Super Mario Land 2 mod was already made so I had to come up with something else. And Newer SMBWii is my favourite romhack so...

True. Although, you could have done a remaster.

Actually, why am I complaining? This is good as it is. Sorry for complaining.

Samus, the metroid and the ennemies can't appear because of the Mario Land 2 mod... Do you know a way to fix this problem ?
Lakifume Posted on 06-20-18, 04:18 pm
I don't but just know that this mod will soon be outdated, by the end of the year I will release the full version.

Are Samus & the Metroid in the "StaticSkin.pack" file ?
If so, I think this is why it can't appear with the Mario Land 2 mod. The way to fix this would be to edit the Mario Land 2 "StaticSkin.pack" file...

Yes you do need to edit StaticSkin.pack if you want to combine mods together.
