I've gone ahead and made my first hack for Super Mario Maker 2. I was really surprised they didn't make a beach theme in the vanilla game so I went and did it myself. Here's my attempt at making it in SMB1 with my limited artistic talent. Gamebanana link: https://gamebanana.com/skins/172214 |

I like this a lot (music especially), but with how SMB1 likes to use blocks between styles I presume a beach theme would probably have the same ground tiles as the desert theme rather than have it that drastically recoloured imo.
