Hi guys! Today I'm coming to you with a tutorial. This means a lot to the Mario maker modding community, so be sure to try it! WARNING: Do not follow this tutorial unless you KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. You have been warned. Requirements: Homebrew Channel Mocha CFW FTPiiU Everywhere (Optional) WiiU Title Boot Editor - https://gamebanana.com/tools/6397 Your preferred FTP software, Filezilla, etc Mario Maker on your hard drive or USB ___ Step 1: On your Wiiu, open the Homebrew Channel and boot up Mocha CFW. Step 2: Launch Homebrew Channel again, and open FTPiiU Everywhere. Write down the IP address it shows you. Step 3: On your computer, boot up your preferred FTP software, and log in. If done correctly, a bunch of code will appear on your wiiu screen. Keep it on. Step 4: Depending on where you live or where Mario Maker is stored on your wiiu, it might be different. Follow the steps below: Stored on Hard Drive > storage_mlc > usr > title Stored on USB > storage_usb > usr > title Step 5: title > 0050000 > ? ? = titleID of Mario Maker. This will differ depending on where you live. Step 6: Now you're good to go! Just put the mods in the corresponding folder, which you can get from mariomods.net. NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH THE META FOLDER. You will learn how to edit this in the rest of this tutorial. Also, I'd recommend to keep a backup of all your files. Just know that you could be banned when uploading levels with mods, modded thumbnail, etc. (THE REST IS OPTIONAL) Step 7: Keep FTPiiU Evaerywhere open, but close your software and open Wiiu TItle Boot Editor. Step 8: Connect to your wiiu Step 9: Edit the files! This is a thread expecting for you to know how to find the files, so if you need help, just comment below. So yeah! I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial! See ya soon! _________________________ Discord - tee#0151 Twitter - @teebeeYT WiiU - beetle857 Switch - SW-1142-1551-7831 |

Cool. I might do this, though I would rather stick with an (Somewhat easier) method. Step 1: Assuming you already have haxchi and SDCafiine Step 2: The edit the config (If Possible) to load SDCafiine On startup Step 3: JK. This method is great! Does it also help with these things: 1. Needing to load SDCafiine every start-up. 2. (For non-haxchi users) going through the countless crashes that happen when trying to get to the homebrew launcher. 3. Lower the chances of crashes mid-game. Also Is it brick safe? _________________________ *A yoshi at heart (Yoshi Clan Forever!)

1: It skips that. 2: You need Haxchi to load the game now, since the game is no longer signed on your Wii U (No way to get around that). 3: It's random when a console crashes, and it's likely not the mods, but it would most likely help. Cool. I might do this, though I would rather stick with an (Somewhat easier) method. Well, can't really help you there. I mean, its only about 7 dollars, and if you don't want to do that, you just have to go with the flow, take your time.Step 1: Assuming you already have haxchi and SDCafiine Step 2: The edit the config (If Possible) to load SDCafiine On startup Step 3: JK. I hope this isn't bragging, but I actually have Haxchi, which a reason for me writing this tutorial. And in terms of brick, you NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. That's all. _________________________ Discord - tee#0151 Twitter - @teebeeYT WiiU - beetle857 Switch - SW-1142-1551-7831 |
