Unlike the placable water mod that we will show later on, this will actually have the functionality, and not just looks.

1. Place a bunch of spikes where you want the want the placable lava tiles to be.
2. Place a mushroom platform behind it, and extend it to its limits.

What's with the weird ground?

Other than that, this has some nice level design.

For this glitch, the player must have a power-up that will turn them into Super Mario when hit. That could be either a fire flower (all), tanooki leaf (SMB3), cape feather (SMB4/SMW) & propeller mushroom (NSMBU). We recommend the fire flower, as that works on all theme, but you can really pick the other ones (except if you are using the SMB1 theme. Then, you'd have to use a fire flower as the weird Mario powerup takes you directly to small Mario.) If the player takes any form of damage and enters a door when the invincibility frames are about to end, Mario will retain the invincibility for the duration of the course; he cannot take damage from enemies or obstacles, except for bottomless pits or lava which automatically cause the player to lose a life. While in this state the player also cannot collect any power-ups except for Super Stars.

This likely happens due to how post-damage invincibility functions in the game. By entering the door at the end of the invincibility frames, the player circumvents the invincibility timer. Therefore, even though he is not blinking, when he exits the door, he is still invincible.

The best way to use this glitch is to place spikes on the bottom.

What you'll need!

~ The latest version of Cemu SMMDB

1. Extract the 2.1.0 zip to the same location as the zip.
2. Open the .exe file.
3. When it says to look for "cemu smm folder", look at (cemu directory)/mlc01/emulatorSave/(title id of SMM)/
4. click "load (cemu version)"

If you don't know your title ID, try every folder in that directory.

1. Draw a diagonal track
2. Drag a lava bubble/podoboo from the top onto the track (don't place it as it'll mess everything up).
3. Shake the track.
4. Drag a mushroom onto the podoboo/lava bubble.
5. Hit the undo dog twice.
6. Place a question mark block.
7. Add an item in the question mark block.
8. Drag the question mark block onto the lava bubble/podoboo.
9. Hit play.

If a lava bubble shows ontop of a question mark block, it means you're good to go.

10. Hit edit.
11. Drag the track off screen.
12. Make a new track directly under it so that way the question mark box will not fall offscreen and instead will be caught.
13. Hold the L/R button and highlight the question mark box.
14. Hold the ZL/ZR button and drag multiple question mark boxes on top of the real one.

At this point, you may add the other items that you want inside the question mark box.

15. Once you are done with that, drag all the boxes onto the one right below.
16. Enjoy the stacked question mark boxes.
