Mario Making Mods

I made a lot of Star Fox courses for some reason. Some long, some short.
These first three are the ones that take place in a box.

Those are all the "box" levels. Let's move on to the one and only Shoot'em up level.

The last course is a short and sweet course for practicing. :3

These are all my courses. I'm curious if you guys have some of your own. :)

AHAHAHAHAHAHAH

In this course, you answer simple Math questions by going the correct way.
1 + 1, 2 x 5, etc. It's pretty straight forward.

Enjoy. :P

Yeah, I'll join this.

What I want to make, is a port of my SMM 3DS level.
I also have a lot of SMM courses I could remake. Would this okay for this mod?

I was thinking each level would have it's own theme. It make it easier and more appealing to designing levels

I don't know why there are "2 Forums" now, but I think it would be smart if we just made one and stayed at it.

Similar to Wayro, I was thinking each level had it's own theme. Not each world.
Each world (planet) can be, I don't know, Mario Galaxy, Starry Skies, it really doesn't matter.
I'm just worried about the music for each world.

Well, some songs from NSMBW are untouched. For example, the lava theme, Bowser's 2nd Boss Battle Theme, the snow theme, the beach theme, and the castle theme are the same. There are some other songs untouched. I don't have a full list, though.

Basically any song that isn't in the Stream folder from Vanilla NewerSMBW. :)

You can replace the Newer SMBWii Music too (the .er files)
You can, but it'd be best to start with the untouched music. I'm not sure how to even loop the music properly.
Besides. Newer's sound track is lit...

On a side note, how does the Worldmap theme work? Is each world map song it's own file?

Well, it depends. If you want to make a BG with a single texture, use this.
https://mega.nz/#!WdZmlAgQ!xhGSSQqwoU15VpFkAZvv9HnA7MdyCdz3aYxlPKNJVaY

Or, you could use an existing BG and texture edit it.

You can try replacing the models of other tilesets, but I'm not exactly sure how. :P

I'll make a proper tutorial on how to make a custom background later.

If you want to make the bgB background a single image, use this:
https://mega.nz/#!WdZmlAgQ!xhGSSQqwoU15VpFkAZvv9HnA7MdyCdz3aYxlPKNJVaY

Or, you could use an existing BG and texture edit it.

You can try replacing the models of other backgrounds, but I'm not exactly sure how. :P

This tutorial will focus on giving your background its own unique ID/slot.
You first need to name your background. For example, bgA_1111 for a Scenery
bg. Or, bgB_2354 for a backdrop bg. It doesn't matter too much. It just needs
to correspond with the 4 # pattern.

You also want to make sure the bgA or bgB makes sense. Meaning, it's bgA if it's a Scenery bg, and
it's bgB if it's a Backdrop bg. Name the file with your new ID, but don't forget the original one.

After you have all that sorted out,

Once you've finished that, save and close the arc file. That's it! You're done!

It would have been easier to tell everyone to open the BG in BrawlBox and then rename every sub-file to match the new name. Oh well.
Dude, why you gotta be so mean? This is just the way I do it...

I was making a "Super Luigi Bros" course series, but I stopped at the castle course.
I may continue in the future. These are the courses I made thus far.

Let's end the argument at that.

I like your idea, theninja1000, of Mario Mods Repository.
But I think I prefer Hack Repository more.

It eludes more towards hacks than mods for any Mario game.
That's just my opinion, though. :)

I know I would be a good mod if I wasn't lazy. But I am.

I'm not interested in being one anyways. Too much talking, thinking, negotiating, and dealing with drama.

Overall, it's too much work. That's why I always try to be nice to those who are moderators.

Well, one thing anyone can do to help out NSMBW would be to post tools, guides, answer NSMBW questions, and maybe even post older NSMBW mods. :)

I would do the last thing I said, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to.

Surprisingly, I made a lot of puzzle courses back in the day.
Luckily, they aren't hard at all!
No, really. They're pretty simple.

These two courses are 2 quick puzzles. They don't take long to
do, but you'll need to figure it out first. That's the challenge.

These are some other puzzle courses.

Finally, these are my favorite puzzle courses. You could say I saved the best for last.

Enjoy! :D

Amazing final stage music or not?

Planning on using this for a final world in a
mod I'm making. :3

If you want an XML, just ask me, and I'll make on for you. I just need to know a couple of things. :)

-The name of the folder that has all the files in your sd card (NSMBW, NewerSMBW, TrapMBW, etc)
-Whether the mod uses the NewerSMBW code set or not

That's it, really. :)
