I should upload my first Mario Maker level. I probbaly will since I like it a lot. It was also a NSMB Castle. SMB3's themes have loads of potential for weird stuff like deserts or space which I like. So I noticed that the NSMB themes always used the normal backgrounds, and after looking at Samplasion's NSMB SNow Mod, I get why. It's a lot more complex. Anyways I decided to try it anyways, just to see if I could. And ended up with this. Nice ! Is it easier to change the background on 3DS than on Wii U ? I have no idea how doing it on the WiiU works but one major advantage of this is that the screen is smaller so things can afford to look rough, on the big screen this would probably need a lot of new sprites. _________________________ Check out my other places, subscribing would be nice too:

So the thing about the backgrounds. Is it that any theme with a black background actually has no background at all? Is it that certain themes respond poorly to having their backgrounds changed in general? Actually, I did read the post on Reddit and think that there would really be at least a couple slots for levels with tileset/background mods. Like keep two or three slots open for it. What's the harm in doing so when most people who use Cemu, hacked WiiUs and 3DS' should be able to use them? But it cant be too many of the levels either so there should be a cap on it like I suggested. Like say you have slots open for 2/3 levels and then close it off once you get them. But they'd have to be levels that actually use the different theme to it's fullest, and also be one available on both 3DS and WiiU. (and yes I'm partially saying this because I made a level with a mod and kinda wanna use that one since I really like it.) _________________________ Check out my other places, subscribing would be nice too:
