I watched one of LM's videos before he deleted them, and it had stuff such as hex editing and that BGA's are the hardest to edit and that?

Yeah, that. Hex editing is probably required for hard coded things.

Hex editing is required apparently if you're using a different filename?

Hex editing is not required for filenames. However, renaming a background externally is not enough, you must open it with BrawlBoc and rename all the subfiles to match.

Well, it depends. If you want to make a BG with a single texture, use this.

Or, you could use an existing BG and texture edit it.

You can try replacing the models of other tilesets, but I'm not exactly sure how. :P

I'll make a proper tutorial on how to make a custom background later.

That is also the case with tilesets.

And it's much easier than opening and re-saving it in Puzzle/PuzzleHD :P

You don't actually need the .lh format. It's just a compression. Download the newer decompressed version from zementblocks Google Drive. They have those files decompressed
Old 3DS XL info:
I used to have a 3DSafe A9LH V11.3.0-36U with Luma in my CTRNAND. Since ReiNAND Reibooted and Re-Reileased, I "switch"ed back.
Right now, I have boot9strap with Luma 8.0 as my CFW. Though, I'd like to see other CFW's for B9S.

you need to code custom sprites, making a new .arc file won't magically spawn it in.
