SUPER MARIO LAND 2: SIX GOLDEN COINS


This pack overrides SMB3's theme with a Super Mario Land 2 theme!
Create your stages on Mario Land or go in space and create tricky Star Mazes. The possibilities are unlimited.
You can also play any normal Stage created with the original SMB3 theme with this theme to get a different feeling ;D

Issues (who will be fixed in a future version):
-The game softlocks, when clearing a stage in SMB1 theme. Pause the game and hit exit, if done so.
-The editing music sometimes don't play.

Super Mario Bros ALLSTARS v1.2

This pack replaces the SMB theme with it's 16-bit version from Super Mario Allstars!
Play all your Super Mario Bros stages in SNES style and enjoy the new and updated graphics!
Also big thanks to ValtteriValtteri24 for his great 16-Bit soundtrack for Airship and the Ghost House !

(Super Mario Flash is a famous flashgame from 2007 in the style of SMB's Allstars theme. It also has an own Level Editor and may started the trend of creating and sharing custom Mario Stages! You can play it here!)

EXTRA NOTE:
This mod uses additional files for backgrounds, that do not exist in the original game. That means, if you use a file replacement tool (Caffiine), it has to be able to add files.
This mod was tested with SDCaffiine v1.4, so it's recommended to use that version or higher to play this mod.

Alright, i'm planning to give the mod a big update, including new backgrounds, better sprites for some enemies and (hopefully) working fanfares (fixing that ears shredding boss music for example :P )



Also the spacetheme now uses sprites for dark themes:

New Super Mario Bros

This pack replaces the NSMBU theme with a New Super Mario Bros DS theme!
Travel back to the good old times of the classic DS and enjoy ;D

Alright, the mod is nearing completion!:
Tilesets: 90%
Backgrounds: 100%
StaticSkin: 80%
Music: 0%
Soundeffects: 0%

I currently have two small issues, but i'm sure they can be solved somehow :)



How did you make the custom background?
By editing the Static.pack. Here is a tutorial ;)

How did you successfully replace NSMBU tileset by 16 bit ones ? I tried and it looks weird for some reason.

This is the filter used by NSBMU tilesets, which goes out of control if it has a lower resolution. I just scaled the tilesets x4 to get it work.
