Epic_stuff, your mods are amazing!
I'm looking forward to play this one on Wii U.

Actually I also have a problem myself. Might be the same as you. Making custom textures functions great but animated objects and the smb3 underworld background gives me an "assertion error" instead of "finished converting" in the command prompt. Any idea how to fix it?

Wait, is this the theme from SMW Pirhana Island 2 ? If it is then you really like this game.

Hey, if you love this ROM hack so much, do you think you could make a mod replacing SMW airship by the tank theme from SMW Pirhana Island 1? That would be amazing!

Is there a way to get rid of the airship rocking in Super Mario Maker Wii U? Because I know that it's possible to change Mario's physics so I just assume that you can also change a theme's physics.

I need help. I've been making custom sprites for ennemies using Wexo's toolbox and Hex Editor and It doesn't work for all of them. Dry bones, blue spike tops and off-burners end up broken in the game. I suspect that Wexo's toolbox doesn't replace some .szs correctly in the Staticskin pack file. Any idea how to fix it ?

This is what I get (left: blue spike top, right: dry bones)

OK thanks I'll try that, I mean I can still edit some of them so it's not so bad.

My favourites are definitely Newer SMBW, Newer Apocalypse and SMW Piranha Island (even though it's a really frustrating game).

Thank you for the tutorial. So it's possible to replace musics in the game. But how do you ADD musics in NSMBU. Because I know that Miyamoto features a music number system that could allow that.

So even the Newer Team wouldn't be able to do that? I mean they did it in Newer SMBW.

It's the same problem I have. It seems only specific sprites can be changed without getting messed up. I tried to find a similarity between the ones that don't work correctly but there doesn't seem to be any.

This is an off-burner:

As you can see even the animations I don't change are broken (the flame that comes out is also broken in half).

So for the fans of New Super Luigi U out there I made this texture mod replacing the NSMBU overworld theme.

This is what it looks like on CEMU but I also tested it on Wii U and it works great:

This is my first mod and I put a lot of effort into it so I hope you'll all enjoy it.
It also perfectly goes with the original background of the game so that's good.

Features:
-new ground tileset
-one new semi-solid
-new bridge
-invisible tracks (I just think they're cool)

Download Wii U (updated):
http://www.mediafire.com/file/7vb86idu4788vqf/WU_Field_plain.szs
Put this file in your content>model folder of the game.

Issues:
-None that I know of

Credits to:
-AboodXD for the Miyamoto object folder
-Zachabossaloler for his custom theme tutorial

Mine says CEMU 1.11.1. What do you mean by a Graphics Card ?

So maybe it would be better to just give the szs. files from the StaticSkin.pack instead ?

Okay, it's Intel GPU I think. There is a 1.11.2 version ? I thought I had the most recent one.

Okay because I have a mod ready that includes a StaticSkin.pack (the burner I showed earlier if I can fix it).
So am I gonna be allowed to post it or not then?

You know what, I'll just give the StaticSkin.pack and the M3_Object_burner2.szs separately. That way people can just put the szs file into there own pack file if it's already been modded.

Wow, thank you! It works now! However, the sprite is somehow scrambled.
I've used BFRES Tool v4.1. However it is displayed correctly in every tool, but ingame it looks like this.
Can you give me a list of the sprites that appear broken in your game please? I just want to see if they're the same as for me.
